Fiona Tinwei Lam

Fiona Tinwei Lam has authored three poetry collections and a children’s book, with work appearing in over 45 anthologies, including Best Canadian Poetry 2010 and 2020 and Best Canadian Essays 2024. She has collaborated on award-winning poetry videos that have screened at festivals internationally. As Vancouver’s poet laureate 2022-2024, she oversaw the City Poems Project which included the production of 42 poetry videos by post-secondary teams based on local poems about historical, cultural and ecological sites around the city. She has taught at SFU Continuing Studies since 2015.
