Fanny Kearse

Fanny, a former Social Worker and Doula, uses her poetry as activism and a means to start difficult dialogues and start conversations of change. Fanny takes inspiration from social justice warriors like Maya Angelou, Audre Lorde, bell hooks, James Brown to modern day artivists like Daniel Farris, Tobe Nwigwe and Amanda Gorman. Fanny believes through connection we create communities we want to be part of. Poetry, in Fanny’s humble opinion of course, is one way to build community. #beseenbeheard #feelyourfeelings
