Christie Lee Charles

Musqueam hip-hop artist Christie Lee Charles was Vancouver’s first Indigenous poet laureate. Christie Lee Charles incorporates traditional knowledge, stories and ancient Musqueam dialect into her music,  Miss Christie Lee, has championed poetry, language and arts and urban Indigenous poetry and cultural practices.
