Annual General Meeting

The Vancouver Poetry House Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, August 24, 3pm, at 111 W Hastings St #210.

A virtual option will be available.

Everyone is welcome to the AGM but only members will be able to vote.  

New members must wait for 30 days before they can vote so you must have become a member on or before July 19th. Renewing members can vote right away. If a member allows their membership to lapse for more than 30 days then they need to wait for 30 days before they can vote.

Making a motion at the AGM:

As in past years, votes will be submitted anonymously online

Submitting a motion:
To submit a motion in advance email the motion to: admin@vancouverpoetryhouse.com by July 25th 2024.

The AGM may be recorded (in video and audio) solely to create accurate minutes. We will destroy the recording when the minutes are complete.

This is a masked meeting. Face masks will be provided if you forget to bring yours

This is also hybrid event.

Doorways are 83 cm (32.68 inches) push in (fairly weighted but people will be able to assist if needed)

The BoardRoom is on the 2nd floor (can be accessed via elevator)
Board Room is to the left of the main office door (sharp left)
