Rex Smallboy

Rex Smallboy better known as the leader from the ground breaking native rap group War Party is a Cree native record producer, rap artist and nightclub DJ. Advocating for his people with his politically and socially conscious rap music since the early 90’s Rex helped to establish a native rap music scene by organizing some of the earliest hip-hop events to happen in First Nation’s communities across Canada. Rex combined his rap music and DJ skills with community addictions and youth out reach training to create a unique and specialized way to impact and entertain youth to promote a healthy positive lifestyle.
