Youth Slam Standings (Jan 27, 2014)
The January 27th youth slam kicked off our 7th year of running this show, the longest running youth slam in Canada, in fine style with our feature, Lishai and some more new poets coming out and wowing the audience. We also had 50-70 people lined up outside hoping to get in by about 7:15pm. Crazy stuff. There is only one more slam to qualify for youth slam playoffs in March and that happens on Feb 24th. Priority will be given to those who have only slammed once this season and/or who have slammed multiple times but don’t have quite enough points yet to make the top 8 which basically means any of the poets who currently have less than 16 points.
Here are the scores from January 27th and the overall totals as well.
01) 28.7 + 28.7=57.4 Emma Field winning 16 points
02) 28.0 + 28.6=56.6 Becca Clarks winning 09 points
03) 27.1 + 28.5=55.6 Jean Lee winning 05 points
04) 27.6 + 28.0=55.2 Jamie Fajber winning 03 points
05) 27.2 + 27.8=55.0 Annaleyse Meyer winning 01 point
