Rusty Priske
Rusty Priske is a long time member of the Canadian Spoken Word Community.He helped run Capital Slam for over ten years and has been the Spoken Word Canada National Slam Master for the last four. His work has appeared on eight CDs, many chapbooks, and in his two full-length poetry books (‘Rusty Priske: Trapeze Artist‘ and ‘This is Day One’).
Rusty has been on eight National Slam Teams, including in 2009 when they went the National Championship.
He has performed across the country including with members of the Vancouver Opera and as part of the Caravaggio exhibit at the National Gallery.
Rusty is the Spoken Word Editor at Arc Poetry Magazine.
