Maggie Harkins
Maggie Harkins has been working as an ASL-English interpreter since 2011. She graduated from the George Brown College interpreter training program in Toronto and moved out to BC in 2012. Since then Maggie has been working a lot in the queer and trans communities and with organizers looking to work with ASL-English interpreters.
Maggie volunteered with the Ontario Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf in Toronto for many years. Now she volunteers with the BC Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf and is committed to supporting the growth of accessibility in the queer and trans communities.
