Justin Calvadores
Justin Calvadores is a contemporary dance artist who is curious to link his artistic practice in conjunction with activism. Originally from Winnipeg, Justin began training in Ballet and then moved to Vancouver to attend Arts Umbrella contemporary dance training program. Shortly after graduating Justin joined Ballet British Columbia as an apprentice for the 2017/18 season under the direction of Emily Molnar where he performed and toured works by Sharon Eyal, Emily Molnar, and Medhi Walerski. Most recently Justin participated in a choreographic residency at The Banff Centre for the Arts with Alan Lucien Oyen in setting a modern production of Hamlet. Justin is keen to intersect with diverse artists and engage in conversation that will bring joy and expansion to his artistic practice.
