DESCRIPTION:There are 5 Mondays in the month of August so to help avoid confusion this is a reminder the YOUTH SLAM HAPPENS ON THE 4th MONDAY OF EACH MONTH not the last monday. SUMMARY:Barbara Adler features at the Van Slam
DESCRIPTION:The Vancouver Poetry House presents feature poet\, Barbara Adler. \nIn over a decade of touring\, Barbara Adler has told stories\, performed poetry and played her accordion all over North America and Europe. She is a veteran of Canada’s spoken word community\, recognized for her solo work\, her interdisciplinary collaborations and for her role as a founding member of the acclaimed folk-poetry band The Fugitives. They have to follow BC Liquor Board Rules and once we are sold out we can’t let anyone in unless someone leaves. You cannot save seats for people in line. Let them know if you are leaving. Also no ATM at the door\, it’s cash ONLY. \nGet there early if you want a seat or want to slam. Before 7pm!
