DESCRIPTION:There are many ways to tell the truth and many ways to approach the self. In this workshop you will learn to tell your story through poetry\, captivate an audience with your words and most importantly of all\, adjust a microphone stand. A 3-hour workshop intensive on how to write about yourself indirectly and approach your inner truth from a new direction. For beginners and long time poets. $20 for adults\, pay as you can for youth 21 and under.\nTaught by Erin Cotton\,the 2014 Vic Slam Champion who is featuring at Van Slam on September 7th.
