SUMMARY:Oral Traditions
DESCRIPTION:One of the festival flagship events\, “Oral Traditions” is an evening that amplifies diverse voices with a focus on oral traditions. \nFor 2025\, led by Sonya Littlejohn\, Oral Traditions will be a collaborative showcase with partners: Native Hip Hop Society\, Wordsmiths\, and Soul Stories. This event will celebrate Indigenous\, Black\, Poets of Colour from across the region. This year\, Oral Traditions is a collaborative showcase of artists including Derek Edenshaw\, Ant Loc (Savage Family)\, Franz Seachel\, Imbali Blooming\, Gabriel Teodoros\, Christie Lee\, Kinfolk Nation\, fanny kearse\, Ivanna Samuel\, Marlo Browne\, and Brandon Wint. \nMonday\, April 14th\, at Chill X Studio (2270 Manitoba St)\nDoors: 7:00 PM |  Show: 8:00 PM\n$10 Advance  |  $15 at the door (no one turned away for lack of funds) \nBUY TICKETS\nOr see everything when you buy a Verses Festival Pass here
