As a former co-director of the Urban Legends Poetry Collective\, he pioneered the Youth Speak program in collaboration with the Ottawa Public Library\, providing free after-school writing opportunities for young people.\nApollo’s impactful work includes his celebrated cinepoem\, “My Hero Drives a Cab\,” which has been featured on Button Poetry\, as well as his participation in the CBC documentary “In Their Words.” A seasoned representative of Ottawa\, he has showcased his talent on nine national stages.
