DESCRIPTION:Come join us for another night of slam poetry! As always\, our event is in our hybrid live & online format. Bring yourselves and your words to Community Pizza\, 1191 Commercial Dr\, or to the Van Slam zoom space. \nRenite (she/her) is a Canadian-British Punjabi poet working in public health. Her poetry intertwines lived experience and mental health training to meditate on issues of the human condition\, as well as the simple moments that make us human. She is published in various zines in the UK. Renite’s self-published chapbook\, ‘Humanize’ is an exploration of grief\, healing and addiction.
