The Vancouver poetry house presents feature poet, Tasha Receno.

Tasha Receno is a Spoken Word Artist, a Non-Fiction and a Fiction writer. She has competed in the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word representing Vancouver in 2014. Has made it to the finals stage of the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Championships in 2015, Competed in National Poetry Slam alongside the Vancouver Poetry Slam Team in Oakland and Saskatoon in 2015, and is the 2015 Vancouver Poetry Grand Slam Champion.

As always, there will be an open mic and two-round poetry slam, (3 min) where poets accumulate points to qualify for the Van Slam team.

Also, be kind to our VOLUNTEER door staff. They have to follow BC Liquor Board Rules and once we are sold out we can’t let anyone in unless someone leaves. You cannot save seats for people in line. Let them know if you are leaving. Also no ATM at the door, it’s cash ONLY.
