Can poetry disrupt the dominant narrative? Can poetry be an act of taking back and paying forward power? Can poetry help us heal ourselves and our communities? Damn right! Through a series of writing prompts and peer-to-peer reflection, workshop participants will explore the potent pairing of poetry + social justice values and personal identities.
