Vancouver poetry house presents feature poet, Mike McGee. “Mighty” Mike McGee is a funny stand-up poet from San José, California. He’s performed comedy, storytelling and poetry in thousands of cities and towns for millions of ears. McGee has won all of the most coveted poetry slam titles and is one of the best known and liked people in the world of talkative writers. He’s been featured on CBC, NPR and HBO multiple times. There will be an open mic and three-round poetry slam: 2 min, 1 minute and 4 minute rounds where poets accumulate points to qualify for the Vancouver Individual Poetry Slam championships.

Also, be kind to our VOLUNTEER door staff. They have to follow BC Liquor Board Rules and once we are sold out we can’t let anyone in unless someone leaves. You cannot save seats for people in line. Let them know if you are leaving. Also no ATM at the door, it’s cash ONLY.
