The Vancouver Poetry Slam presents feature poet, Lisa Baird.

Lisa Baird is a queer performance poet based on Attawandaron/ Attawandaronk territory (Guelph Ontario). She has toured nationally and internationally, performing at national and international festivals, basement shows, demos, kitchens, conferences, and classrooms. She’s done a lot of slam stuff too. She’s really happy about featuring at Van Slam. She lived in Vancouver for awhile and it broke her heart to leave. She’s as friendly as she looks. Come say hi.

Also, be kind to our VOLUNTEER door staff. They have to follow BC Liquor Board Rules and once we are sold out we can’t let anyone in unless someone leaves. You cannot save seats for people in line. Let them know if you are leaving. Also no ATM at the door, it’s cash ONLY.

Get there early if you want a seat or want to slam. Before 7pm.
