This will be the final poetry slam before the start of the 2017/18 youth slam season so break out your new poems and test them in front of an attentive and appreciative audience.

There will be two 3 minute rounds in the competition plus a poetry open mic and of course a feature performance.

This month’s feature is the Poetry Squaddd aka the 2017 Vancouver Youth Slam Team. The team included Charity Ywaya, Nadia Alikashani, Ana Monfared, Andrew Warner and our grand slam champ, Emma Field.

Come check out their new team pieces they’ve been working on just for this event.

Doors and sign up to read starts at 7pm. Show gets going at 8 o’clock. $4 for 18 and under. $6-$10 for 19 and up. It’s CASH ONLY at the door.
