REGISTER YOUR TEAM FOR HULLABALOO 2018!!!!!!
Hullabaloo is British Columbia’s pre-eminent youth poetry event! Bringing together teams from across the province, some of Canada’s best spoken word artists, and enthusiastic crowds of poetry lovers at Vancouver Public Library’s Central Branch in downtown Vancouver. Hullabaloo 2018 takes place from April 19th to 21st, and kicks off the 8th annual Verses Festival of Words.

Registration costs $200 (non-refundable), which gets you:
- Entry into the Hullabaloo tournament for a team of 3-to-6 poets!
- Guaranteed entry into Underground Indies for 1 team member!
- A 2-hour workshop for your team/slam club with a member of the WordPlay Poets roster!
- Up to 6 tickets for the All Star Slam at Rio Theatre!
- Early registration for Adventures in Poetryland workshops!
- And best of all – sweet, sweet T-SHIRTS!!!!!
Registration opens at 12:01 AM on Monday, January 29th, and you’ll want to act fast: it’s first come, first served! (Once all 16 spots are filled, registering teams will be added to a waiting list.)
How does registration work? Simple! Follow this three-step process:
STEP 1: Email Johnny MacRae at wordplaypoets@gmail.com saying, “I would like to register a team for Hullabaloo!”
STEP 2: Mail Vancouver Poetry House a non-refundable registration fee of $200 (Johnny will happily provide you with an invoice).
STEP 3: Write, write, write! Practice, practice, practice! Book a workshop with one of our poets! Show up at the tournament and have more fun doing poetry than you ever imagined was possible!
