Vancouver Poet Laureate, Evelyn Lau, and social media guru, Sean Cranbury, discuss publishing in the 21st century and how writers can make it work to their advantage. Literary journals, publishers, and the Internet will all be examined in detail as literary venues, examining the content they seek and the opportunities they offer to writers.

Hosted by the co-founders of the East Van Poetry Salon, Julie Peters (President of Vancouver Poetry House) and Chris Gilpin (Executive Director of Vancouver Poetry House).

East Van Poetry Salon is a quarterly event where writers, readers, and word enthusiasts gather to talk informally and quasi-academically about poetry. We aim to learn from each other and improve our own writing quality by creating opportunities to think critically.
