A new youth slam season is well underway as this is our 3rd slam for poets to collect points towards making the playoffs in March 2015.

The youth slam is open to all poets between the ages of 13-20 years of age. All poetic styles are welcome in the competition. You DO NOT have to memorize your poems to perform but it does often help.

You MUST slam AT LEAST TWICE during the regular season to qualify for playoffs and you cannot be turning 21 BEFORE September 1st of 2015.

Our show includes a poetry slam, a poetry open mic and a featured performer. This month our feature is from Portland, Oregon, Annelyse Gelman

Her recent work has appeared, or will soon, in Hobart, Nailed, Atticus Review, !e Light Ekphrastic, !e Destroyer, Rufous City Review, Former People, MARY, Australian
