“Awesome day! My students were so pumped and spoke about it for days afterwards.” – Lorisse Humphries, Chilliwack Middle School

The always popular Hullabaloo All Star Slam at the Rio Theatre returns this year, featuring a battle between Canadian spoken word all stars!

The 2018 edition of the All Star Slam sees Vancouver’s Molly Billows, Calgary’s Erin Dingle, and Saskatoon’s Zoey Pricelys Roy compete in a three-round poetry slam – with students judging!  Once the dust has settled, and the winner has been declared, there’s time for a Q&A with the artists.

“The All Star Slam is always a great experience for my students.  It exposes them to another art form that many young students don’t even know exists!” – Marion Humeniuk, Maple Grove Elementary
