On December 21st, the Vancouver Poetry Slam welcomes back Bellingham's Ryler Dustin.
Ryler Dustion has appeared on the final stages of both the National and
Individual World Poetry Slams. A winner of the Sue C Boynton Award and
the Bart Baxter Poetry Contest, he's headlined at venues from the
Nuyorican to his hometown reading, Bellingham's Poetry Night. He's
currently enrolled in the University of Houston's MFA program and
serves as an associate editor for the literary magazine "Gulf Coast."
His newest collection, "Heavy Lead Birdsong," is available from
WriteBloody and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
This is another qualifying slam for the playoffs in March.
Doors and Signup are at 8:00 PM
