Many of you will probably remember Pest - formerly based in Victoria, she had performed with strong cottonwoods and Radar as a part of Odditory Presence. (Check out http://www.myspace.com/odditorypresence).

Pest died this morning on Hornby Island, under suspicious circumstances. The police are investigating a "person of interest" (whatever that means), and there may be more information forthcoming. It's a tragic loss for our community.

Oh man, that's horrible. I was sort of hoping against hope that it was accidental but this is just......man. Too much.
