Lonely Shore

Shuffling along Rhossilli shore
disturbing trillions minute homes
Consider those whose death we trod
careless fools with every clog
Each one his own
not made by man
mystery temples hewn of sand
Blinded mind
each grain compares
as sparkles light the misty air
Mariners retort from beyond
carried on breezes disguised as a song
Whispers
not made from us
but many before sent in white trust
Each ripple
brings forth a tune
each breeze the orchestra is full
Buglers none
nor trumpets blare
violins and trombones rare
Sound your horn mighty waves
disturb the silence in their graves
All who doubt
what tunes are made
hearken to the grand octaves
Silent limpets washed galore
still rocky mansions move no more
Noisy gurgles from below
razor fish gulp
then let go
Hermit souls limp to and fro
expecting fragments, munch galore
The concert must continue on
without a sound
expect a throng
They gather not to give a song
but rally O yeah
clap and stare
Mirrored clouds dance in the waves
shaped unique
not one the same
Breakers with no triplet forms
or twins
or quads
just one then gone
Cliffs around hold back the wrath
from tempest fury eons long
Limpets
crabs
and every life
bow down to fury sent with song
Alas
the minute temples fall
if not to man then tempest thrall
