Fill up on freedom
we'll siphon your hope
socialize wall street
we'll make you broke
privatize healthcare
don't drop the soap
fucked either way
its a slippery slope

bootstraps or backpacks
prostitutes or painters
growing in the cracks
a weed for campaigners
a thorn in the side
soon we will rise
facts are the facts
the rhetoric will guise

The voice of the media
the call of the vulture
the scurry of rodents
the scavenge on culture

neo-cons and air attacks
vultures in eagle masks
inject fear and lies
the needles they will pass
the virus it will spread
the virus it will spread
the virus will spread
across this land
the virus it will spread
the virus it will spread
the virus will spread
(psst!)the oil's in the sand

neo-con president
neo-con minister
the truth is disguised
their motives sinister

Trickle down economy
like piss on my leg
it flows down only one
the others left to beg

The right to assemble
destroyed like a puzzle
crowd control looming
dogs with out muzzles
tear gas and mallets
masks and shields
ballots
substituted for wall street's yields

The freedom of speech
our vocal cords cut
like tax on the rich
the trend is to strut
wealth like a Rolex
please take your time
it wont be long
'til the front of the line

Growing back stronger
these cords in my throat
silence no longer
voice a thick rope
lassoing cowboys
pulling it tight
shortness of breathe
scared for their lives

running and running
to get out of this land
further and further
the desert quick sand
closer and closer
they come to the border
fenced from their threats
a wall of disorder

I really enjoyed the rhymes in this poem.

This little stanza I enjoyed the most.

"Trickle down economy
like piss on my leg
it flows down only one
the others left to beg"
