After the poet's name is the order that they performed in the first round, then their first round score. After that is the position that they performed in the second round, then their second round score, and finally their total score for the evening.

NB: so far Dave Morris, Barbara Adler, and David Perez have indicated that they will NOT participate in the Van Slam Team Playoffs, which means their names will probably be removed from these standings when determining the top 16. I've kept them in for now because, for one thing, they could change their minds, and for another, I like completeness.
There are FIVE regular season slams left to qualify poets for Van Slam team playoffs! They are: Jan 19, Feb 2, Feb 16, Mar 2, & Mar 16.
Just a head's up to poets who may be wondering what placing they need to qualify for the playoffs: a first place finish will certainly assure you a spot, a second place finish will probably get you a spot. Last year, a few third place finishers qualified for playoffs, however, I'd expect that with ten combined first and second place finishes still to come, it would be unlikely for any third place finishers to squeeze into the top 16 this year, and I suspect that even the lowest of the second place finishers could be in trouble.
That's just speculation on my part, so take it with a grain of salt. I could be wrong, but looking at the odds, I wouldn't assume a third place finish is a safe ticket to the playoff round.
IF (and this is all highly hypothetical, keep that in mind!) the Van Slam playoffs started today, and we removed the ranked poets who have already said they will not participate, then the top 16 would look like this:
1.) Lisa Slater
2.) Sasha Langford
3.) RC Weslowski
4.) Scruffmouth
5.) Duncan Shields
6.) Fernando Raguero
7.) Ed Word
8.) Lucia Misch
9.) Clint 'Father Goose' Wilson
10.) Sean McGarragle
11.) Shannon Rayne
12.) Steve Miller
13.) Omarie
14.) Farrinda
15.) Tim Slum
16.) Julie Peters
Best of luck to all the poets!
