I was inspired to write this after hearing about cuts to arts funding in BC. Constructive feedback anyone?
To think that Humans have somehow stopped evolving is a easy enough. But reality is we're being selectively pressured by the acquisition of stuff. Once we were known as intelligent hunter gatherers but modern convenience has simplified our lives to become simply latters. Survival of the fittest now thriving of the richest, where those most capable of dedicating their time to capitalist endevours grow strong, and powerful in a feedback loop upwards. What use is a wandering mind in comparison to hording the fruits of the daily grind. CPPs and ROIs. We all want to live free before the day that we die! What use are ideas like charity and ethics if they don't return a profit? Sure, Starbucks and McDonalds make some contributions, but thats just a distraction to hide their consumable distributions... It would be so much cheaper if everyone just shut the fuck up. Global warming, institutions, industrial food, and motor car pollution. Keep things quiet - nice and easy. The best thing for you is to rack rack your visa way the fuck up. Incur interest expenses, pay it all off, and repeat it relentless. Social cause, peace of mind, content with enough at the verge of complacent. These are the enemies, not the remedies. I can't make a profit selling that shit! What good is Prozac is simpler times, if people are happy just laughing at rhymes? Listening to music and looking at art serve no purpose beyond pointless indulgence. I want to press cd's, and print "funky" t-shirts. Make you want more, I'm trying to hit pay-dirt. Don't think! The world is black and white. Right and wrong. Everything is polar and anything that affects my ability to profit is Evil. Jesus told me. Trust me! You can trust me - Trust me!! Its somewhere in between all the that stupid shit.
