Hello Everyone! It's that time of the year again. We have an open call every year to poets who believe they could be great workshop leaders. We work mainly with secondary schools throughout the Lower Mainland. The big initiative we're starting this year is poetry slam clubs, working toward the BC Poetry Slam Championships for secondary schools held at
The Cultch in April as part of their
IGNITE! youth festival.

application is due AUGUST 31st , 2010! Fill it in and email it to
wordplaypoets@gmail.com , along with a copy of a poem you might do in a poetry workshop.
We will be notifying all successful applicants by September 7th. Also feel free to email it to people you know that would be awesome at teaching our workshops in schools.
