It's the 20th anniversary and the final year for Under the Volcano. UTV is an activist arts festival held almost every year at Cates Park in North Vancouver/Deep Cove. All sorts of great artists have performed there over the years.
This year the 2010 Youth Poetry Slam Team is featuring from 5-6pm on the Malcolm Lowrey Stage...the home to spoken word at the festival since its inception.
If you have some free time on Sunday please drop by. Free shuttles to the festival leave the Safeway parking lot at Broadway and Commercial. The pick up times are tentatively every 30 minutes starting at 11am.
The team includes, Olivia Berger-Hawthorne, Marcella Huerta, Diana Itebu, Paul Fischer and Tessa B.
