A big loud shout out of congratulations to Antonette Rea!! She was one of the winners of Geist's 'Neighbourhood Writing Contest: Stories about home". Her moving and beautifully crafted story 'Free me from Anxiety' was published in the Spring 2010 issue. I spent my morning reading it and was quite blown away, for many reasons.
Antonette has been performing her work at Vancouver Slam events for a few years now. It is wonderful to see her words recognized, honoured and published by such a reputable magazine.
