WOWPS 2010 Bout Draw

For those of you who want to see who Julie Peters is competing against check out this link...it looks like there are some amazing bouts the whole tourney.  Then again what would you expect?

UPDATE: Julie got a 9th on her 4 minute poem and a 3rd on 1 minute poem for a total of 12 after Day One (lower scores are better). That puts her in the middle of the pack. Actually, she's tied with Tara Hardy and others.

Tonight is the second round of prelims - I'll be so excited to see how Julie does tonight! Let's all cross our fingers for her!

The bout Julie was in was by far the toughest bout I'd ever seen. My previous top bout was the IWPS Last Chance slam. This topped it.

To put it into perspective, last year's WOWps champion Rachel McKibbens took a 6 ranking out of 12 in the first round even though she had a decent draw.

Julie took a 7 in the first round and a 9 in the second round. I think her performances (especially on the first night) were the best performances I think she's given to date. We should all be very proud of her.
