Erin Kirsh is a Vancouver based writer and performer. She is a two-time member of the Vancouver Poetry Slam team, a one time member of the Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam Team, and the 2012 Canadian Haiku Death Match champion. Erin is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s creative writing program. Her work has been published in The Quilliad, Drunk in a Midnight Choir, and most recently Geist, where she was awarded second place in the 10 Annual Geist Postcard Story Contest. She has performed for audiences across North America during her time as a member of the Vancouver Poetry Slam teams, as well as in her No More Airports tour of 2013. Erin has been bringing poetry to youth via Wordplay since 2011.
